Auto-Assign Idea Owners

New Feature

We've made it easier to ensure every Idea has an owner from the start. You can now set a default assigned admin for Ideas, so new submissions are automatically routed to the right person without any manual steps.
This means no more unowned Ideas slipping through the cracks. Your team can stay organized and responsive from the moment feedback comes in.
Here's what's new:

  • Default Idea Owner: Designate a specific admin to be automatically assigned to all newly created Ideas, keeping ownership clear and accountability built in from day one
  • Flexible Assignment: Set your default at the forum or category level, so the right admin is automatically assigned based on where the Idea is submitted, perfect for teams where ownership varies by product area or topic
  • Seamless Routing: Skip the manual triage. Incoming Ideas land with the right admin immediately, so nothing gets missed

A Better Way to See Who Supports an Idea

Improvements

We’ve refreshed the Supporter View to make it faster and easier to see exactly who is backing an Idea. Now, you can quickly scan Users, Accounts, and Opportunities, in a clearer, more organized layout.

We've also added two powerful new features to help you prioritize with confidence:

  • Group By: Segment supporters by license type to differentiate admins and end users
  • Impact Rollups: See the combined impact (e.g., total revenue, number of open Opportunities) of each segment so you can prioritize based on the metrics that matter most.
